At this point, as we say in France: 'cheh'.
She's the one that wanted this, I can understand that she has trauma from her past relationship but at some point she's an adult and needs to take responsibility for her choices.
It may seem heartless but i'm done wasting my emotions on such dumb drama, I just hope the guy finds someone nice in Finland.

Of course I have no doubt the author will pull something out of his hat (to stay polite) to make them get back together.

Making her family, friends and coworkers worry because she went mental over a one month separation.

I still want this to work because of him and I like that he seems to be playing along while letting her know he will be back. Of course we would've been better without this drama and there's a chance the author will make it longer to stall it a little more.Or maybe it will be better and she will get off her ass and follow him instead of just being sad waiting if that happens.

I don't know, I just don't want to give up on this yet.

I can totally see this! It isn’t beyond Tatsuki-kun to make her decide for herself (by letting her know he isn’t coming back). The onus is on her at this point.

Author is cooking... author is burning the rice...

It makes sense, though. Aoko hasn't gotten over her trauma, so she's coping by isolating in her work. Tatsuki tried to change himself to fit with Aoko, but part of him wants to make ceramics as Art, not production. They have different goals and visions for their lives.

So I wonder if we'll see some major character changes? Will they give up on their dreams to be together; i.e. Aoko decides to take a risk and leave her hometown, or Tatsuki decides to give up as an "Artist" to be a "craftsman?"

I knew it... after reading this author's other works, I just knew it's going to be like this.. Yet I still read their creations, hoping it'll be different this time. Nope, it is not.
Tatsuki just went back to his original goal before falling in love with Aoko. He got his heart broken and that's probably why he decided it best to just focus on expanding his art by focusing on it and leave for good. He's heartbroken but respects Aoko enough to completely calling it off instead of keeping some vague sense of hope in the both of them. He's moving forward with a clean slate.
Aoko... sigh..... I hate how her character is being assassinated by the author. She's using a lot of "me me me, I I I" in her rationale. "Setting Tatsuki free". "I like his art". "I am a burden". "He can go because I am not holding him back." etc etc. Woe is me but this is all for the sake of him. No. This was all for her, because she can't win against her own insecurities and paranoia.
Never once did she actually sit down to discuss with Tatsuki for the best course of action.

I get that she was so hurt and traumatized by the fucking bear. I understand how the little voices will pile up and get the best of you. I understand the darkness and how it's not easy to voice your insecurities and vulnerability, especially to the person you don't want to lose.
I'm frustrated because this is a fictional story. The author made a conscious decision to make Aoko this way.

It hurts a lot. We haven't gotten to the "everything is okay" stage where we can see why we have to feel frustrated or sad at this stage for the story to work.

But man, Tatsuki should go find someone else.

I said I was gonna drop it but here I am.

even her friends are like 'wtf girl you made the worst decision you could have'

ISNT AOKO LIKE 30??? ACT YOUR AGE GIRL!

I'm so stressed, I hope tatsuki finds success in Finland and I hope aoko matures a bit.

Wow wasn’t expecting Tatsuki to say that but I should have known it wasn’t going to be just one month. I hope both heal and grow from this.
