Damnit, this arc was so weak (to me) LMAO but I'd be lying if I said my heart didn't squee when they reunited

I can tell the mangaka wrote this arc as healing and growth for Aoko's abandonment issues, but I think it needed at least one more chapter of Aoko's personal introspection before Tatsuki's reappearance

I usually am not the one for quick reunions- I like mutual understandings with a heart to heart. But honestly? I could feel the pure relief that they both had upon just finding each other again. It’s a different kind of heart to heart but it works just fine. They’ll have all the time in the world to talk later.

I'm hoping that future chapters will let this initial rush feel better. I expect that these two will talk it out, but the pottery does a lot of communication. They should probably just go make a new piece together and sort things out that way.

...Whenever a separation arc of some kind is written where there's quite the build of heavy emotions, and then followed by "the happy reunion" before they sit and talk--the tension from the drama just gets lost for me and then I feel like I'm getting emotional whiplashed when they focus back on the issue.

Sometimes not so much whiplash depending on how that part is written, but I feel like its happened quite a bit for me to make an impression lol.

Either way, we're at homestretch so I do look forward to how their talk will be presented (to us); the recent arc has been frustrating sure, but I think the author does a great job in writing very thoughtful dissections on their character's emotions.
