Really a lot of benefits to having a Fog girlfriend huh.
I really like how there's there's so many facets to this chapter.
Like for example, this secret weapon the Americans have that was originally intended to fight the Fog. There was simply no chance against Repulse. Not only have their current plans failed, think about all the hopes put into this thing in the past, just dashed. It was expected since only the less advanced weapons were enabled, but still, when hit in the face with reality its a bitter pill.
And Repulse checking Komaki over is more than just a throwaway scene. Remember she rushed here to begin with because Vampire exaggerated (but in hindsight not really) that Komaki was probably gonna die.
Personally for me there are also little details that get me irrationally excited LOL. Like when Repulse fires her cannons, in that scene you can see her forward main rangefinder pointed in the same direction. Talk about mechanical stuff boys like.

Komaki need to get it together.
Worryng about diplomatic issue when traveling aboard is partically impossible is stupid.
What's more, they are the one who attacked first, and your machine record it all, self defense is a thing and your mens life is more important than the enemy life.
