Yeah, no. Human flesh usually doesn't contain many nutriments, which is why it's not a good choice for us to eat it, with our energy expenditure as full-grown adults (Societies that practiced cannibalism only did so ritually or for the symbology). Other smaller animals and insects benefit more from doing so.

I guess this had typical isekai slob characteristics from the start but somehow I thought this manga would be different. The mangaka, like many others, probably thinks he has great ideas for his dream game and wants to tell the world about by writing a story instead of making the game. There are way too many ideas just thrown around without being fleshed out. Huge amount of exposition for a fictional game but barely any character development.

And what's going on with the system message. Was he just reincarnated into the game? So everyone else except him is a npc right? At least that's the only reasonable explanation about that weird Evil affiliation thing.

well other people would notice that the person eating human flesh is slowing getting stupider the more he eats because humans got stuff in their flesh that isn't digestible by the human body such that it physically damages the human brain and nervous system.

Yeah, there is significant amount of research done on this on imprisoned cannibals and some crazy jungle natives that practice the act when food is scarce.
The research showed that probably the only reason the jailed cannibals were caught is because they went from highly intelligent to highly stupid.

Prions aren't in basic tissue. Only organs, and especially the brain.
Unfortunyaately! I suppose those would be "the tastiest bits"
And not just people but rarely you can contract them even from already infected animals! (Hence culling them) So be careful with those gizzards and livers!
It's easier to contract by being "genetically compatible" of course .

I know... the cannibal natives are found not to have a decreased mental capability while the jailed murderers do. So they infered that meant the jailed ate the wrong stuff. Though I doubt those results since it's just basically an assumption since they know the harmful side effects of eating prions and their current health status and knowing why they are in prison. And a lot of these natives that are cannibalistic are really closed off to the world and they are rather aggressive in protecting their tribe's customs from outsiders.

Like how stupid europeans would claim that asians ate monkey brain without knowing that the brain they were talking about is a freaking mushroom that looks like the head of a monkey.
