Damn that’s pretty depressing. My take away is that Houzuki is a loser alcoholic who likes to play with Hina because she makes her feel smart and she attracts Hina by acting mysterious and talking big about taking her away one day. Hina thinks that this is appealing because she is also a loser like Houzuki, she has no friends, her parents are constantly arguing and she hates her shitty town. But when it comes down to it Houzuki is a loser and has been lying to Hina this whole time. The reason she wouldn’t kiss her isn’t because she wants to protect her purity, it’s because she’s scared she’ll go to jail. Hina doesn’t realize that until her mom catches them and Houzuki runs away and says it was all a silly dream and Houzuki was never actually going to take her away. Then Hina realizes what kind of pitiful person Houzuki is and what it means for her to be the same as her. She realized that they aren’t special smart people above everyone else, Houzuki is a nepo baby who couldn’t even make it as that and dropped out of college and spends her time drinking and talking to little girls. If she’s like her holly shit that is bleak. I mean she realized that her one person she looked up to was a loser and she has nothing better.

Houzuki doesn't seem to be drinking that wine (until the very end), she keeps that expensive booze in the room as a prop to make herself seem more adult. Like the affected speech, or the books that get traded for the iPad when Hina's not around, it's all just for show.
