April Fools 2026: GachaDex Card Submissions

Because managing one submission thread wasn't enough for my sanity, I'm here to announce that GachaDex is officially making a comeback for this year's April Fools!

If you weren't around last year, or if you just want to bask in the glory of past pulls, you can check out the GachaDex Archive right here. (Massive thanks to @robertelch for hosting the archive and preserving our collective brainrot.)

Unlike last year, we actually have a proper backend handling the gacha this time (RIP wallet due to egress bandwidth). This means we are expanding the roster and accepting submissions for new cards to stack on top of the existing pool.

How to submit (use the template!)​

To make sure I can actually plug your cards into the database without losing my mind, you must use the following template when pitching your ideas..

Just reply to this thread with your submissions. You can pitch as many cards as you want, but please try to consolidate them into a single post if possible so this thread doesn't become a complete nightmare to read through.

Copy-paste this and fill it out for each card you submit:

Card Title: (Make it funny. e.g., "It will load one day")
Type: (Must be "MANGA", "CHAPTER", or "OTHER")
Link: (The MangaDex URL to the manga/chapter, or a full URL if you chose 'OTHER')
Rarity: (Pick a number, from 1 to 6. See the tier list below)
Description: (The flavour text or joke for the card. e.g., "Cool ass credit page though")

The rarity tiers:

• 1: Common
• 2: Uncommon
• 3: Rare
• 4: Super Rare
• 5: Ultra Rare
• 6: Epic
• 7: Legendary (reserved strictly for the "test manga" and maybe a secret entry. Do not tempt me, I will reject it)

The Ground Rules​

The exact same content rules from the ad banner thread apply here:

• NO: Full-blown pornography, spoilers, shock content, or AI-generated content.
• YES: Unhinged memes, mildly lewd jokes, and mercilessly making fun of the title.

The Deadline​

Just like the ad banners, the cutoff for submissions is the 31st of March at 16:00 UTC (noon EDT).
