Sadly someone like xellos sister really exist in this world.

Why didn't he install a hidden camera in his dorm, encrypt his data and save it on external hdd or cloud? I'm not expert in programming or anything related to it but i'm still confused why he leave his work data like that

Actually no! They meet and he snaps after a short chat and does his best to kill her (though not to the point where he breaks out the AoE annihilation magic due to collateral).

He even succeeds but she's like a cockroach in the number of substitution/clone items she has so she gets away. She still doesn't learn anything though.

Something about his old world.

after getting fired. He secluded himself in a small farm community. With no obscuritys and to small for rumors to to become vague when spread.

Nothing of value other than his PC, which is in heavy use, no loose money or jewels to be stolen.

She isn't able to rope others as the population is to small and all's trust him more.

She tried to leach and steal Agian. But in such barren situation and nothing to steal, there is nothing worth the effort/price. She left because she doesn't want to live in such conditions.

She then made a living by seducing men and stealing then ghosting them. But she had a hard time, living this way. So she thought of contacting her brother via the game. And do thing digitally.

But he is surrounded by kind of extreme people. Hence the nickname. Supposedly they put a suicide by explotion ring on her for shits and giggles without knowing she was his sister.

MC tried to get rid of her but she clever enough to wrigle her way to other and made MC the bad guy instead, also he able to move to other company dormw here its geared for single person(banchelor) rather last place that used for family so his sister can stay with him, but the said bitch still found the way to enter his room by sweet talking to dorm manager and steal the data, also
if not for subtitute magic item she have she will die in their first reunion since MC snaped and say since its not japan he can do as he please and kill her for good, unfortunetly She like cockroach hard to kill, only after pretty lengthly preparation MC able to kill her and that still not the end for her

@JESMAN his name in Japanese is written as ゼロス・マーリン
ゼ=Ze
ロ=ro
ス=su
マー=Maa
リ=ri
ン=n
Which roughly can be read as Zerosu Maarin, but to make it sounds like Western people might transliterate it into Zeros Merlin, but since "Xellos" can be read similarly to "Zeros"(Japanese people read the "L" in Xellos as "R") in Japanese that works too. Though I personally preferred Zeros... The previous translator ignores the "su" part of his name, most likely due to personal taste. Western/fantasy name transliteration can vary wildly, in the end, we're just guessing the Japanese author's intentions of the name in the alphabet, we won't know which one is the correct until the author themself decided it lol.

@Fuew12 None of that would have happened if the dude didn't make it possible to happen. The sister was an adult person, so was the MC. He wasn't her guardian and thus responsible for her. He could have told her to get lost and take care of herself, not accept her into the dorm of his company, which the sister obviously would have nothing to do with. He was obviously very lenient and understanding, no matter what he's now claiming. He couldn't abandon his sister, despite knowing the sister was rotten to the core like the best of politicians. If he had told the folks what kind of person she is, her sweet talking would have been pointless. He was the valuable employee, not her.

On the bright side, nice to see there are people that never had to find out the hard way just how little you can do about the more manipulative women lacking morals.

With people like that, there's no way you can keep them out of your home unless you're the ONLY one that can get inside in the first place, which definitely aint the case with dorms or rentals for example.
For that very reason I live in a home I own myself,with all keys and everything only handled by me, no backups or anything with anyone else/elsewhere at all..
Because I found out the hard way any lesser measures weren't enough.

Telling others barely even help at all in the best of cases.
For example when the bitch cleaned out your bank account despite not having access to any of your cards,pins,bankbooks or anything really..
What did help was to even get rid of the account, and start a new one at a rival bank while informing them during creation about the reason for switching banks, and that I won't hesitate to switch again besides other legal actions if it happens at their bank aswell, and so they better just assume anyone claiming any sort of relation to be attempting a crime.
(More effective if you don't even mention the suspects gender or anything, based on experience it seems easier for them to play the victim and manage something if your words seem to target them specifically rather than generally including them by their own actions.)

Plenty more to bring up, but too lazy to touch more points than a couple far too similar ones to what was written in this chapter.



Last but not least, thanks for the translations!

So, uh, I guess the author wasn't aware of the existence of a real game which has that as the main game mechanic, with the endgame involving you literally going through the code and modifying it in-game. Uhh... Hack 'n' Slash, it was called.

If she was really good a guilting others and acting innocent, she probably could've acted like a victim to everyone else and thus more or less 'force him' to let her stay there out of pressure from society.
Not to mention, he probably couldn't actually decide who could live in the company dorm, so she had to convince someone then.

@Kaarme You overestimate people's intellect, most people will never believe that an "innocent" girl/woman is a shitty thief just because her brother said she is, even if you have literal video and photographic evidence some people will still ignore it or excuse it because "she's a girl/woman". A lot of people don't believe a lot of simple things, like that the Earth is a sphere, or that Covid-19 is dangerous, or that the solution to "bad guys with guns" is NOT a "good guy with a gun".
