This story ain't bad, but not deserving 2 adaptations.

Now for this chapter, it makes NO SENSE to have the isekaied people putting a spec of the demon god in illegal drugs to clean their hands of the hazardous material.
Think of it for one second, they want peopel that use drugs (=evil, so they don't care what happens) to use drug that enhances power and can create a berseker abomination, totally not caring about what a deranged evil person could make when given that kind of immense power, but still making money out of selling the drug.
Is a incredibly shitty forced plot to make a future arc with the slums having monsters coming out or something equally stupid.
If they really wanted the thing to be destroyed they would have used it on weak monsters that then they would kill, as simply sealing it away could still make it get found out.

I remember apothecary diaries also have 2 manga adaptations, of course by different mangaka.
Nothing wrong with it, enjoyed the difference in drawing and the difference in artist perspective.
If it sells, it sells, it's nothing weird.

I think it just highlights his moral compass, which is somewhere along the lines that he likes feeling like good person even if he isn’t one. He just wants to get rid of it so he thinks if he just sneaks it into illegal drugs, it would be fine because fuck people who buy drugs, sort of ignoring any collateral damage that may result from this or the fact that people who buy drugs are still people too.

Because its easier to accept a cougar hunting young men, then a fukboi or old bastard preying on young girls. Not that either pedophile is better then the other, only that it's easier to fantasize about being pinned to a bed by a MILF/Cougar then dicked down by some male with an attraction to children.

I think the other version skips so many things that this version has. Like this drug thing and Ado. Really messed up if he thinks it's ok that people ingest his dangerous mutagen just because they're drug addicts, unless I'm not understanding the dialogue. If he wants to dispose of it, why not burn it? Degrade it with volatile chemicals?
