People are acting smug saying the manga is still ongoing, yet conveniently forget that plenty of manga that got the axe before were given some chapters so that at least the author could try to wrap things up.

Apparently the author has already said that she didn't get the axe, but even if she didn't it's still a natural conjecture to make if you are a bit familiar with how the manga industry operates, so I can't really blame people for thinking so.
