Even as an American, I get it. Ever since high school, I've almost always been addressed by my last name, or some form of it. Hearing my first name from someone other than really close friends or family just feels off to me, almost like you have to earn the privilege of addressing me that way.Man, the Japs sure have weird hangups about names.

Beyond just this, there's plenty to explore about how he came to be the way that he is. There's nothing normal or healthy about his attitudes toward sex, romance and just basic physical affection; there's almost certainly something traumatic in his past that he'll need to begin unwinding before he can become a full partner in a working relationship. (Particularly if we want to avoid the situation in the honeymoon extras where he considers his feelings and desires even toward his new bride to be immoral. Some things should never become canon.)Usually mangas end the moment the boy and girl become a couple, and it's a shame because there's more that could be done with the couple, but with this manga where the two of them started off hating each other, then slowly becoming closer and now decided to date, we see that both of them are completely inept at it and get to see them learn how to treat each other completely different than when they started.
