I can understand the MC's hostility. Tbh, I wouldn't really trust Rin either. Although he let her, she took advantage of Simon's feelings by selling all of his equipment. Her motive for wanting money is understandable, but she like the kind of person who would stab you in the back if given the first price. She just doesn't seem trustworthy
