Just a theory but is it possible that the lizard is an alt account of the ice girl? Unless they're using voice chat though. It could also be an alt account of another top ranker

Btw it got me thinking that his cousin urged him to play but why isn't he playing with him himself

yeah your theory makes sense as a high-rank technique or skill that is used by a low-level character wouldn't add up otherwise however

If someone can have alt accounts, then I see no point in waiting for 3 months to get new account... or maybe she's rich, so she could have alt account.

His cousin probably wanted MC to play because he was in depression (Only Reason). They also said it's hella expensive in the beginning...
