At some point my pc picked up Smart Game Booster (probably came with a video editor program I downloaded).
I was wondering if there was any point in activating it , or is it just junk I'de be better off uninstalling.
Does it improve video player performance in ways other then online gaming? Or is it only usefull for upgrading my Riven software performance (if I dust it off again)/

The point of a game booster is mostly just to end processes that take up memory and CPU time while you're playing games so that your games can make use of the freed resources. If you're not gaming, it won't do much, if anything. Even while you're gaming, you can accomplish the same result just by closing programs you aren't using.

In short, no one needs a game booster.
