Are there any stories with harem theft by the protagonist?

Just something I'd thought of for some time and thought would make for an interesting story. I have seen at least one story where the main character had a harem but someone else pretty much stole them from him, with all the girls basically dismissing him as completely uninteresting now that they've found someone "better". But does the reverse ever happen? Not necessarily something that shallow in form, but something where girls that had been part of another guy's "harem" (not necessarily romantically/sexually active with him, but constantly flirting or pining for him) grow to love the main character instead?

And just to be clear, this can happen in any way. Whether the other guy dies and the girls eventually move on, or he falls for (or is revealed to be exclusively in love with) one specific person and the other girls are forced to give up, or he turns out to be a total bastard and the girls eventually come to realize his true colors and separate from him. I mean, the one story I just came across where the main character's semi-harem was stolen from him had such a bastard who thought the world revolved around him and yet didn't care about any of his new girls because the only girl he wanted was the one girl that fell for the main character.

Pretty much the concept of Isekai NTR. The MC made it his life's mission to steal every girl who falls in love, gets interested or otherwise gets close to his newfound male friend, because the MC has major trust issues (especially with women) and he feels compelled to protect his way too good-natured friend from all the "evil women" around him.

It's been a while, but I believe the women generally do get infatuated with the friend, but are generally also up to no good. The MC sleeps with them to confirm that they're "not good enough" for the friend and makes them fall for him instead.

Who had the harem? Far as I remember, everyone that was in Kearu's harem was pretty much single before him. I'm looking for stuff where a bunch of girls liked one guy, and now they like the MC.
They're the gods' harem. Notice almost all are female ex for the bald niga.

Found one that kind of fits. The main harem actually consists of the "Hero" and his companion's mothers[/ispoilers], but it does still have all the girls that were part of that guy's harem wind up realizing how shallow he was and how awesome the MC was, to the point that when the "Hero" openly considers "giving" one of his haremettes to the MC, all three of them quietly think that they'd very much prefer being with the MC and regret having fallen for the "Hero"'s charm and energy. And yeah, it does ultimately end up with those three girls declaring that they want to be the MC's lovers, mistresses or whatever as they don't even care when the now-former Hero dumps them all. A big part is that they grew up spoiled and just want to depend on someone, and they could depend on him either as his lovers, his wives, or his daughters (as he's married all their mothers). That said, at the most recent spot they are working hard to grow and improve so that they can support themselves OR support a husband, with the MC himself thinking that they probably still don't even fully understand their own hearts but he will seriously consider them if their wishes haven't changed afterward.
