This is one of those things that varies wildly from setting to setting. Like, in the main D&D settings I'm pretty sure at 18, she'd still be considered a child or at least like an underage teenager for roughly the next 82 years? I think the average age of elf adventurers just starting out there is like 100-120 too. Expected total lifespan if they don't die of disease or injuries, somewhere in the 500-1000 range?
On the other hand, there are also settings where their aging is basically considered the same as humans until like 20, and then they just straight up live forever if nothing goes wrong. Or ones where they do actually just age the exact same as humans, the primary racial difference then being the pointy ears and magic affinity I guess. I bet there's a TV Tropes page titled "Our Elves Are Different." Especially considering that elves can be like this or several other variations physically speaking too. Keebler Elves anyone? Or like Elder Scrolls, where like half the playable races are more or less varieties of "Mer," or elves, including "orcs" and "dwarves."
