They let the only withness pass the judgement.
No one except that judge received a testimony or some sort of evidence.
And no one has ever tried to hear directly for the acussed what he has to say.

I think they may have some errors in the actual judicial system...

Something seems off about this. I don’t think they should trust the investigators word at face value (perhaps a case of truth mixed in with a lie in order to get MC to move according to some scheme).

@ciera The reason why they believed it is "because plot hurr durr herp derp, author couldn't come up with a more convincing reason yet".

MC should do my solution - kill everyone. Traitor will be dealt with when everyone's dead. Yeah, a few "innocent" people might die too, but who really is innocent anyways.

at first i kind of liked this manga, but wtf the couples of last chapter was perv priest(or monk or whatever) trying to fuck "slave black haired girl", figh , redo the perv thing , fight, and now what? bullshit thing "you told to only one person when nobody heard you that you tryed to kill the princess so we gonna execute you and make your daughter a slave", whatthefuck?

or did i just missunderstand the whole thing and i need to reread all?

You could explain the glaring holes in the story and their judical system with mind magic.

But I'm surprised. This is the first time the story got interesting. It's much better compared to before. It's still not Berserk levels, but I like how the villain was portraied in the middle of the chapter, was unsympathic as he did horrible deeds. That steered things up. (Puzzling as I normally hate such introductions. I guess this story needed some turn. Any turn away form random BS.) And then in the end he turned into a mystery. Did he really do this? What was his reasoning? I liked that, too. It removed the stank of 1D villain around him. It's a very good setup....I just don't have faith in the author to carry out an interesting story as followup...one without too much plot holes and cute waifu BS.
