nah i don't think there is a good or bad guy in this manga,
its alot more morally grey from the shounens on jump,
for example so far every "villain" hasn't really seemed like a traditional villain, even that military guy is angry due to certain grudges, and the fact that they didn't kill all of the miu and actually treated them somewhat well, shows they aren't just generic bad guys,
same with the imperial guard guys chasing the protagonist.

i noticed this as well, because in yugioh there was al almiraj card, with a bunny with a horn
