Agreed. He doesn't act stupid or dense, he just doesn't quite accept their feelings of love outside of Yui and now Kaori but he doesn't deny their love. He actually at the start wanted to be a one woman man so the fact that they were able to wear him down this much is a lot of progress. Of course, only if main wife Yui approves.
