they changed pretty much everything, the atmosphere, the conversations and how it went, even Hajime was toned down real hard.

Chapter 55-56 of the Web Novel
Looks like the changes were;
-Hajime shot the guy with his... finger, rather than his gun? Or his arm is his gun and doesn't require taking the shape of one physically.
-The knights drew their blades at Hajime and tries to pressure him... but his pressure is on Kenpachi's level and incapacitates them and his classmates and teacher as he threatens everybody present—"Get in my way, and I'll kill you." In contrast to this... if DAVID (thats his name right?) tries this shit again, he's dead. Sounds more like he'll be drinking watered down food until he can afford surgery.
The reunion was NOT this casual. After all Hajime endured while with the class as the weakest, and to be "killed" off by one of them? He threw SHADE and I was... actually looking forward to this scene the second most.
I just hope the reunion with the others— which is my first favorite, won't be so... disappointing.
