@Fday It's been a couple of years since I read it so it may not be accurate
It all goes back to Yue. The reason Yue was imprisoned was because they were trying to hide her from the God because the god wants to use Yue to be a vessel.

This god is the reason for the conflict between humans and demons, whom they both unknowingly worship.

The party managed to get to the demon king's place, I think, only to find out that they're just being used. The God kidnaps Yue while the rest of the party was helpless, and states that he will be back once his possession of her is complete. Kouki is brainwashed by a female classmate and joins the god. Hajime snaps and starts slaughtering demons who were left behind, until Myu snaps him out of it.

Hajime teams up with the countries he's helped so far and provided them with weapons. He also creates something to a hyperbolic time chamber to speed up the process. The church in the human kingdoms have been destroyed and repurposed.

War starts against God and angels. Shizuku and one other guy friend deals with Kouki, Hajime deals with the god. During the fight, Yue breaks free from control and the god is killed.

After the battle, Hajime creates an artifact that allows him to travel fro and back to Earth. Most of the class return, some decided to stay (Kouki, who was later isekai'd for a couple more times). He brings his wives and Myu along, except for the princess because of her duties (but visits on occasion). Everybody in the class retains their powers, but just prefers to live quietly.

More adventures come up after that.

Well, at least now we have properly moved past the anime. Also, there are three characters still alive that I hate. Freid (that demon guy introduced in the beginning) is one of them.
The other two are
Eri and Ehit, though I absolutely loath Ehit compared to the other two as the two of them do have some amount of tragic history whereas Ehit is the truest scum of the series

Dont you love how Bize looks completely different from the panel where they first spot him to when they turn him over?

Well, some parts were a bit skipped or shortened, like
- Myu talking about the time when she was kidnapped and forced to cross the desert in a basic caravan.
- Yue replying back to Kaori's talk about Hajime favorite things, with her own counter of talking about Hajime & her's bed activities.
- Yue spanking Kaori's butt, when that worm appeared, because Kaori who accidentally fell on Hajime's lap during the rough driving, took the chance and grabbed around Hajime waist with her own face being close to Hajime delicate part.
- There being multiple Worms around (not just 2), and that Bize guy was with a group and he was the sole survivor at the end.
- Kaori using different type of Spells to reduce the symptoms of Bize (she used a basic healing, a mana transfer spell, and then an AoE heal)

@Keiszer: Well, if we consider the Novel, then it could be said that the person they first spotted was someone else, because that Bize guy was with a group from his dukedom, but they all had already died by the time Hajime & Co arrived.

@Adokun
Kouki wasn't brainwashed by Eri, Ehit used his power on Kouki which he should normally be able to resist. But his justice boner and hatred of Hajime made it easy to brainwash him into believing that Hajime was the enemy of god.
