That's certainly a level of miscommunication that happened.

"Near death experience."
That's putting it lightly.

She really likes to reiterate that he was sulking.

Teddy bear battleship girl GET! And also a twin-tailed weirdo. I like the weirdo more.

What does "half-sisters" mean for those people?

"Don't do anything more than that."
Not sure she dares. She's not terribly strong when it comes to some matters.

"You've been all dere-dere lately."
That is the evolution of a tsundere. They go from tsun to dere.

She delivered the line! Tsundere heavy cruiser best girl.

Tsundere heavy cruiser no longer a tsun! She even ashamed of it, what a development lol.
Seemed she was more embarrassed by playing the tsun, rather than by who she's become.

Your Tsundere Heavy Cruiser has evolved... she now is... Dere-Dere Heavy Cruiser. ;)

Takao has been on a roll for some time now... girl wins and loses at the same time.

Happy Kirishima and Haruna are officially part of the fleet now.

You know... the idea that one person has the ability to "test" the entirety of the human race is unbelievably... petty... and flawed by design.

There is so much to consider, and the Almighty Being chose a misanthrope to decide humanity's fate... at least she balanced it out with the optimistic youth.

He was, Gunzou is a sulker... and he needs to be reminded that, it doesn't show easily, but the boy gets an inflated head if left completely alone.

And obviously she begrudgingly accepted the tough task of reminding him... she suffers a lot having to do that... not.

I like both of them equally, because to me... both are weirdos.

I think it has to do with them being from the same fleet, but not of the same series of ships.

The self-cringe when you realize you're exposed that badly. I've rarely ever seen the classic tsundere taken to an extreme, taken into self-awareness and still pulled off so well. This series is still gold standard.

Kirishima and Haruna are both Kongou class battleships, i haven't read more about them to indicate that there are differencess between the two.

Then maybe there is some sort of variation in the designs that makes Haruna say that?

I don't know much about ships, their categorization, and other tidbits. I only know enough to take what I am given at face value, knowing that there may be more to it.

And Haruna likes to give sharp responses, that much I say with confidence XD.

Haruna might just be splitting hairs to be prickly. The original ships were built simultaneously in different shipyards. The only other real notable historical difference is that Kirishima was on offensive duties for the entire war until she was sunk, while Haruna was always held back for defensive actions; this seems to have been reflected in their characterizations.

It's actually platinum status, the sheer depth of character they end up with and are still hardcore fighting machines will always be amazing.

Kongou Class Battlecruisers yes but all four of them were built from different shipyards most notable Kongou being from Britain while the rest was in Japan. You could say that they had different "mothers" on that aspect hence "half-sisters".
