was really pleasantly surprised with Jung's approach to marriage. Although I completely understand Sokhee's concerns about the confrontation between Jung and his mother since he kind of brushed Sokhee off about it at the end.
When my sister got married, there were too many demands between both sides of the family. And being the filial son and daughter, the my sister and her groom tried to please both sides (which is an impossible task), a lot of pressure and stress fell on to my sister
It's nice to see the Jung telling his parents that a marriage is between the husband and wife in question, and not the families. I mean of course, the family's input should be considered... but what really matters is the opinion of the two getting married.
and ya I think in Sokhee's case, the dad cheated once and the mom never really forgave him. I also think that this manhwa is really putting into action, "hell hath no fury like a woman scorned" heh.
