Hilarious how she felt that marrying was indecent.
Right? Especially when it looked like a very traditional Christian wedding. 😂. She seems to be taking the puritan route where being happy at all is sinful.

I know this is a light hearted manga. I am enjoying it so far. But he basically said God has the power to create world peace. But he…doesn’t…because..??
Futurama actually has a really good episode of it when Bender kinda becomes God.

Basically it isn't possible. Any long lasting solution would require taking away free will and just controlling every living and non living thing and all environmental forces and literally everything at all times.

Most of our problems are fabricated and more societal and individual issues anyway. Take poverty for example. Money doesn't exist, it's just an artificial construct to simplify trade. The root issue is that we don't have enough resources for everyone. Okay fine God should just make it so there's enough resources for everyone to ever get to live a sustainable life. Well there's always going to be people who want more than their share. Okay fine so God can just take that desire away from people (already stumbled into a major moral and ethical debate) or make infinite resources (not really sure how even God can make an earth with infinite resources without infinite space). Even then people find ways to separate into classes and put each other higher or lower on a pedestal based on whatever superficial traits they want to go with to create conflicts (which we see now), so you're again at the need to just take away free will and control everyone and everything, which is a major moral and ethical issue and also just a freaking pain (like imagine controlling billions of humans on top or who knows how many other sentient living organisms).

Plus if we think past Christianity and Bible and consider the implications of a single all powerful being for the entire universe then why should they care how humans are doing? And if they do they'll have to go the extra mile to make sure the whole universe is in balance while they're fixing humanity's constant stream of problems.

Better just to leave us to solve our own problems and hope at some point we learn and stop making the same mistakes (fat chance tho).

Ah, I love that Doraemon's gadget reference. I think it was a reference. The Desire Camera sounds familiar in Doraemon's manga run.

Muslim theology has a great answer or rather great approach to a rational answer.
Peace is a relative word as is good and evil. A common person can have peace if his immediate family is safe and secure and a higher authoritative person will only have peace when his people are at peace individually. so peace is a relative concept.
Now god gave you free will with which you will try to attain peace at the cost of others peace. Now by basics of theology we know free will entails rewards and punishments.
So If god brings forth world peace then the whole concept of rewards and punishment is void henceforth nullifying the concept of freewill. so the only place you are to have eternal peace/ever lasting peace is in heaven.

If God is all powerful, he cannot be all good.
I think it's just meant to imply that you'd need that much power rather than that God can/can't/doesn't

And guys, please, "Kurisu" this "Kurisu" that - Clearly her name is Chris, like Christine.
