It's not a good look for this ray of sunshine to be so quiet and distressed. The geezer could've comforted her more, just like she cheers him up from time to time.
But what does she mean 'pop it with a needle'? Canker sores aren't exactly blisters that you could drain, are they? I'd rather keep my mouth clean (sage tea works very nice), avoid sugar, replace the toothbrush, and just let it heal on its own.
