@duylinh @Reqqles you know, I’m not even sure that his appearance is the problem. The girl is not at ease because she’s forced to do this by the bullies, so she can’t portray herself to “like” someone forcefully.
The more time they’ll spend together and he’s considerate, the more her way of seeing him will change.
I know it’s early to make a prediction, but I see the whole “everything will come out in the sun” as only two possibilities:
1) he’ll learn the truth by accidentally hearing something from her classmates, he decides to leave her initially, but after that she asks to be forgiven saying that in time she really came to like him. Vengenace (at the hands of his friends) follows.
2) after falling for him for real she’ll muster all the courage she has and explains everything in front of the class, from the initial dates caused by the bullying to her really liking him. Ending, same as before.
The second is more wholesome tho.
