People who make funny translations are a blessing on this site.
Older scanlators from the early 2000s always took liberties in the way they wrote, it added character to the translation, and helped even localize it in some cases.
The robotic "japanese to enligsh" translation gets boring very fast when you read the same dialogue over and over.
Modern translators rarely make use of english idioms, which was also more common in the past.
What you do instills a self-awareness in the characters that these mangas desperately need.
I'd rather see the guy be happy he's getting a footjob to his face than actually act in pain as the manga originally suggested.
The movie "The Room" becomes a lot more enjoyable once you learn to watch it ironically, and I feel many of these mediocre-plot mangas desperately need this to stay fresh.

Then google Japanese raws, use machine translation and insert memes to entertain yourself.

Most of us read series to actually read script as close to the original as possible. "Liberties" don't add character to translation, they're at best a fanfic pretending to be serious translation.

@yasashikakashi If you'd rather see a manga conveying exactly the opposite of what it originally did, as per your example from the chapter, don't read it. This clearly isn't the medium for you if you think the original stories are just too boring to read. Stick with 9gag or any of the other dozens of animeme sites, they have exactly what you're looking for.
