They just conveniently forget about the aunt's existence most of the time... which is another annoying thing about this manga. There is one completely absent family member and one who shows up so infrequently she might as well be completely absent...

Meanwhile entirely too much focus is given to that idiotic mother with her tree-trunk neck.

Well you see the logical thing to do there would be "Mu-kun" to sleep at the edge with his wife next to him so it's pretty much impossible for him to interact with the other women but I guess they're all dumb.

Don't even go to normal logic here, only manga logic (meaning turn off your brain).
If we follow logic:

• Why aren't they living separately? (least concerning since it's better to save up for the house credit than to pay rent to someone else)
• Why is a wife stay at home? (I understand after having your first child but before that?) If wife worked they could save up much faster for their first house. + If wife worked she could take maternity leave thus having 6-18 months paid maternity.
• Almost every interaction mother makes is filled with sexual innuendo and by normal logic it would be seen 100%
• Family is malicious at almost every point and level, even mother despite saying that she did it with her husband every day doesn't acknowledge the fact that they can't do it exactly because this family has no privacy boundaries
• The youngest needs some stern discipline, husband can't say anything to her, he is like stepfather but with even lesser authority. (Being a stepfather is already a bad thing, almost 0 authority and same responsibility as father, being a step-brother? That's just nightmare if family doesn't control the child)
• The youngest has clearly 0 respect towards the husband and views him as a playmate. She wouldn't act like that around her father but allows to do so around a stranger(stepbrother). The concerning part is that mother or big sister must instill sanctions for clear show of disrespect but they aren't doing so.
