I honestly don't mind scanlators having a paywall for their latest chapters, as long as the updates are consistent on the non paywalled stuff and they actually keep going on mangas they have taken on.
but yeah, illegal is illegal ofc so I'm never gonna pay for illegal activities.

We know we might have missed a few chapters to be uploaded on mangadex and I'm sorry for that, and we were planning to reply with an upload. But with the new rules on Mangadex, we need some time to make sure we’re in line with their guidelines. So for now, we won’t be able to upload any chapters until we’re fully compliant and we might need to redo most of our series chapters in this process.
