Regarding this chapter though, it was refreshing.
It was almost like the author got criticisms from his handling of Ritsu in the previous chapters and thought to
allay those criticism through the manga itself. Honestly an interesting way of communicating with fans.
I still don't like Ritsu though. Not for the reasons the author mentioned but because he forgave someone who
straight up killed him and tried to turn his demons against him. You don't have to hate that person, but don't
become pals.
Also... while I have no issues with Ritsu's general personality he doesn't have any individual traits that stand out.
Maybe it's because I'm a westerner who actually values individuality, but even Kirito has unique personality traits, like
how he actually likes playing pranks or instantly flips on the super geek fan switch when he sees new cool gaming tech.
