I mean, not gonna take it that far, I don't judge either way. Just, understand what the manga is about, y'know?
I don't see why you don't, it's not like they'll extend the same "courtesy" to you.
That said, judgment is a natural thing, without intrinsically moral properties: the moment you appraise something, even something as commonplace as the weather, a judgment is passed; it's only in this padded-wall era of blunted-corner, rounded-edge infantilization that one has had to worry about "judging" people...and for some reason, the only people who
don't have to worry about it--ordained by the same people who say you do--are those who
ought to be evaluated negatively. And thus they "judge" freely, and often aggressively.
You know they know what the manga's about. They're still here despite it.
