And considering that they aren't there in the future and weren't there in the past I think their whole point was to be funny and make fun of censorship. And it worked.

That panel at the end had the weirdest censorship I ever saw. Two side by side images of the same character each with a single black bar across part of the image, yet covering different parts of her body, thus making it pointless.
