a broken pedestal is a valid excuse for acting like that, some people can crumble knowing their idealized person aren't up to par, it's cliched but a common character development is a person accepting the flaws of an idealized person

I think saying "The Prince D'Autriche" rather than "D'Autriche's Prince" would be better since D' basically means "of" already. (p5)

You know, I loved Lelouch vi Britannia at 100 points but it got dropped to -100 points in just 1 panel he orders his sister princess to massacre everyone AS A JOKE.
it was too much that I dropped the manga right at that chapter and didn't bother to read anything else for that day, I couldn't even eat and sleep well.

When you idol someone, it will become harder to accept the truth about their flaws.
The more you expect, the more you disappoint when it betrays you.
The more you hope, the more you despair when it betrays you.
The more you love, the more you hate when it betrays you.

@monkaS - no, D’Autriche is the name of the school, so that school’s prince would indeed be D’Autriche’s prince.
“The prince D’Autriche” would be equivalent to “King James”.

This main vs branch family plot point is so overused and tiresome at this point. This is one trope, that I think, Japanese authors need to just drop.
