I went back to read the last couple chapters again, because it sorta felt like Asumi's operating under an incorrect impression as to what Mai's actual problem is in all of this.
And I know that Mai is, in effect, sorta put out that Asumi might still simply see her as a childhood friend, when Mai has always had feelings for her; and Asumi...is kinda still operating under Mai being her "beloved childhood friend", who also made her feel funny when they kissed upon reuniting.
Still, this should prove to be a fun little training arc. I guess Sayaka will still be the "final boss" she has to pass before going back to Mai, but I do sorta wonder if it'll be treated as a lighthearted bit of narrative, or if Mai will catch wind of what Asumi is doing, but not the why, and will misinterpret her crush going around and sleeping with "everyone but her", and get upset.
Time will tell; this hasn't really had that sort of tone to this point (I guess Nanao being a bit sad over her one-sided feelings for Asumi, and of course Mai's, are the "heaviest" we've gotten), but Asumi's just sorta been bumbling along with a vague goal, with the focus being all the lesbian sex and not so much on the emotional side of it all.
Either way, thanks for the TL work as always.
