Okay I was not expecting the plot twist of Capt. Sarel not ordering them to do the kidnapping and those idiots did it themselves.
Same lol. Dunno if that makes things worse or better.

not gonna lie, I'm kinda disappointed that everything turned out be yet another misunderstanding of sorts. I know this is mostly a fluffy feel good manga, but man author-san if you build up such a story arc for so long and it just evaporates, it just feels bad.
I think the slow updates don't help matters, it feels so (or even more) stretched out as a result. Not blaming anyone though.

I mean, with the way they went about it so surreptitiously...i kinda smelled this twist coming.

Hell, with the way the Sarel arrived and how he was talking to them, they actually threw me off a bit and made me think he actually was the mastermind. But the instant they revealed the wind spirit actually wasn't acting in concert with the black-clothed people it was giving away the fact the were most likely working independently, and not under some big master plan, the stinky smell of someone acting out a half-thought plan smacked me in the face.
