Hello, current translator of Atagoal Monogatari here (who doesn't know or speak any Japanese). I have recently gotten access to a lot of manga by Hiroshi Masumura, and because of that I have decided to set a long-term goal of translating almost all of Hiroshi Masumura's mangas. How this would work, is that I would work on each manga in order from when it was released

This means that I'm going to be translating most of Hiroshi Masumura's one-shots, and Yonezaad Monogatari, while I'm translating Atagoal Monogatari since they were released before or during the publication of Atagoal Monogatari. So, if anyone is wondering why translated chapters of Atagoal Monogatari are taking longer to release this time, please note that I'm currently translating two mangas at the same time.

Nice to see your comeback for other Hiroshi Masumura's manga (I remember those Atagoul translations which were not perfect but I was glad they existed), do you translate from non-Japanese sources or with Ai assistance or something like that (since you don't know Japanese)?

I usually translate Hiroshi Masumura's manga with a combination of Google Translate, DeepL, and ChatGPT. For ChatGPT, I always request it make several translations for one speech bubble of text and an in-depth explanation of the translation. I always try to cross-reference its translations by comparing them to those from Google Translate and DeepL, and if there's a new word or phrase in those translations, I try to search up its Japanese spelling to see if it actually translates to that new word or phrase. I'm obviously not going to trust ChatGPT 100% since it can make mistakes sometimes, which has happened to me while translating.

I also usually get help from the Japanese Wikipedia page of Atagoal, to translate names of the people, and places in the manga.

This combination of machine-translators has helped me in revising some of my translations of Atagoul Monogatari.
