Does it matter? Elves are generally rather androgynous, they can look like either sex.So despite a bath scene we're no closer to knowing the gender of the elf.
If the dwarves in this manga are anything like the OG Tolkien dwarves then human's would be unable to tell males and females apart. Both genders having beards makes it even harder. Also something about the way they are portrayed tells me that elf is a guy.So despite a bath scene we're no closer to knowing the gender of the elf.
I suppose depending on the precise Japanese grammar that's true for the dwarf as well though...
btw sand/dust bathing is realI love it when an author makes interesting unique lore and does it in a way that feels "real".
Not real like "in real life" but real as "something feels real".
Oh, I know that, and to add... if I am not mistaken, their fur does not dry well because it is layered, so if they get entirely wet, the chances of them developing mold are very high, and it can affect their health drastically.btw sand/dust bathing is real
they're done by chinchillas since they're too fluffy for water baths or smth like that
thought that was the inspiration, since dwarves are bushy
