Unfortunately this is just a manga and her parents not calling the police is just to continue the plot. In real life, the police would side with the parents no matter what and the bruises can be seen as being caused by the classmate if the parents spin up that lie to them.

He would be safe from the law even if the police were called, they should call a lawyer and move from there. They could only be in danger if one of her parents is a cop or they have connections with the police.

Japanese legal system is vastly different than ours. He is by no means safe just cause he's in the right.

The one issue is that the mother has been taking nude photos of her underage daughter to sell online and the daughter can probably prove it.
