Currently she's under house arrest? For attempting to kill the king's sister-in-law (who is related to the royal family by her parents too) and niece/nephew?

The king doesn't even much care for her; what leverage does she have to justify anything besides the deepest dungeon in a kingdom where they execute enemy royal families to the very last child?

I totally thought they were gonna cut her off when she was revealing she was Cici to Max again as her mom walked in, but they finally decided to finish off the tease that everyone has known for far too long. Now they just need to reveal to the boys that the MC will be killed in a few years since I'm pretty sure neither of them know she's on a ticking clock yet.

Probably still investigating all the details, like her motive, how involved is her family, etc. To decide what kind of punishment and on who will be handed down.

Like if that letter from her father about bribing the mage's tower get founded, then they might dig up that old Ceci's 'disappearance' case to be re-investigated as kidnapping/attempted murder.
