I feel for Noa but girlll let this trifling boy go. She is arguably one of the prettiest people at her job/ in the manga. She will find someone who treats her well when she least expects it.

Yeah I get it, Noa and Guwon were dating over 7 years but he just cut her off like nothing after he falls for another and included the long distance relationship they had was the summary which made them over. She should know by now how little he cared about her, it must hurt definitely but she's only getting annoying by chasing after him after all he done.

What's curious about this manhwa is that it feels like two comics at the same time 😂
I feel like the author wanted to write a manhwa where Noa was the MC but it was turned down because they thought she wouldn't be likable enough, so the author decided to fit her into another idea they had. It feels a little self-inserted too, I wonder if the author went through a bad breakup recently.

About Jiyoon, I feel kinda bad that she's misunderstanding the team leader's intentions. She's gonna be soooo disappointed once she finds out what he really wanted. Why can't he just tell her already anyway? He never had any qualms about demanding her to do work-related stuff before. Isn't that one of the reasons why she disliked him so much in the beginning?

Yep, I agree. It was a nice side story for a bit. But now, it’s definitely taking up more story time than I imagined it would. If it were portrayed as two colleagues and their relationships, then this would make a lot more sense. I’m also trying to find the purpose in making her confront him so many times. This kind of character development is painful to watch.

As for Jiyoon, aside from her jumping to all of the conclusions (lol), I was also wondering if projects like this were difficult to come by for women in these workplaces. This really could be a great opportunity for her, especially since their boss didn’t even seem to have her on his radar. But, more importantly, he could just...tell her.

They’re both so incredibly awkward, though. I’m curious to how they could even start dating with the way they interact. 😂

Sorry but this isn’t okay and I hope the author addresses it properly. If it was a man stalking his ex’s workplace and showing up to shout at her like this people would be appalled. It would be considered harassment.

It also leaves a bad taste in my mouth that we’ve only confirmed that ex-bf liked someone else and broke up with her for that, which is sad but totally normal and better than cheating on her, but she’s accusing him of cheating publicly without having confirmed anything.

Noa is the crazy ex here and I hope she is handled properly and not just given pity and consolation like she’s doing nothing wrong.

It’s really hard to see Gaeul as an actual love interest rival bc he’s just not likable at all. The only thing he got going for him is good looks

Also i totally feel for Noa but this subplot has overstayed its welcome imo. She’s had more screen time than the actual protagonist lol. I want more Jiyoon;;;;

At first, I was with Noa, and I still feel for her. However, showing up at his place of work or school and ranting at him is not cute at all.

No. Screw that. Breaking up is part of life, but Guwon was an absolute coward and hid like a pussy instead of facing Noa and giving her some sort of closure. Like with this... friend... if the cousin... of another friend... who was ghosted out of nowhere by a girl and still doesn't know exactly why. That stuff hurts.

I assume.

@Axkmint That's not what a crazy ex means. A crazy ex is someone who bothers you months etc after a break up.

People have feelings. Guwon created this situation by ending a ltr in the worst possible manner. Personally, I think it's obvious that he cheated but that's hardly the issue.

You don't treat people like dirt and then expect them to disappear. Did Noa make me feel comfy? Not exactly but I'm glad she's dragging and embarrassing a guy who cares more about respectability than the feelings of someone who he was supposedly in love with for years.

Personally, I think the new girl got a nice warning too but she probably will ignore it.

This has nothing to do with gender 🙄

Breaking up at any point of a relationship is fine. Trying to end a 7 year relationship the same way you'd break up with the person you went to 1 dance with in middle school... Adults typically need some care after they've invested their lives into someone for years.

@Ceereus Hell yeah. Guwon is scrum that most likely cheated but he couldn't even have the basic decency to give Noa closure, what she is doing is totally understandable.

Well Noa is pitiful but at this point she's the one ruining her own life. he clearly doesn't wanna get back together, why would she go there for that then? What more is there even to say after last time confrotation? If it was so she could scream at him she could've just done that before.
He didn't try to ruin her reputation so why is she doing that to him? Revenge? Yeah he was bad to her for prolonging a relationship he didn't want anymore but feelings change he can't do anything about that.

I don't understand why can't she accept it. I'm not saying move on just accepting, coping with the aftermath and maybe rediscover herself. I've been broken up with through text even tho I believed I was putting a lot of effort into the relationship. It felt shitty and after 2 days he was already dating someone else. I got to know they were already flirting and talking while he was still dating me. But still I accepted that he broke up with me, I mean I talked a lot of sht about him and complained to my friends how a trash guy he was for that but I didn't make any scenes with him or go and say he cheated in public.

Noa feels like an empty character whose only purpose is to show the ugly side of long term relationships ending and what happens when there's no honesty in it from both sides. She can't do anything if he isn't there. Work? Nope, performing bad.
Anyway I don't hate her I just want the story to go back to the main character.

@Nixnaw Exactly! Or even a decent sit down conversation?!

@uMoonlight Realistically, she's not at that moving on stage. She's literally bewildered because he's dishonest and avoidant. He treated her like dirt and that deeply messed with her emotional well-being. She didn't calmly decide to go to his work. She's on a ledge and he put her there. Actions have consequences. Humans have feelings. Guwon thought he could treat her however he liked without any adverse effects but that didn't work out too well.

I really don't see why some of you want to be so fair to Guwon to the extent that you're being completely unfair to Noa. Noa has been very clear about how much she is still very romantically in love with Guwon. And he let her stay that way when he was just settling for her. Because from what we can see the two of them weren't fighting, she's wasn't stressing him about setting the date, she was completely supportive of his career. Nothing major changed. He fell out of love? OK when? Why? Why did he choose until he was basically in a New relationship to start really and truly disrespecting her? Even if he's not in love with her, what did she do to deserve so much disrespect from him? I just want to make it clear that it's not just that he broke up with her, it's how he went about it. And... strangely... there doesn't seem to be any hesitation or conflicted feelings from him about ending things in such a brutal way. He's completely cold. I don't think he ever even shows any emotion except his embarrassment/discomfort when Noa causes a scene. Guwon's story doesn't add up at all and imo he's always been settling for Noa.

A lot of accusation but no evident yet imo. I feel for Noa but it’s just as unhealthy to intentionally confront a situation when the other party isn’t on the same page. Yelling at him is good but that should’ve been something done earlier in the “break-up” so that she leaves time to move on.

My take:
They both are just too ill-matched for one another. You saw that initially Guwon pursued her and she was the one that had to open up to him. That means to me that he liked the act of chasing her and courting her more than anything. So when she suddenly became too supportive and too adaptive, feelings started to waver on his end. After her move to the city, she was the one making the time to go see him, she was the one that kept saying “it’s okay” when it really isn’t. Her actions let him feel like he should pursue someone else because her love is “shallow”. Her actions are of a girl in love but it seems forced in a way. During the first meeting chapter, I always felt that she didn’t like him much but he did a single “thoughtful” act and all the sudden she wanted to give him a chance.

Guwon is obviously a sh!tty guy, he’s avoidant and insincere. He claims he wants to break up with her because he “wasn’t sure if he can continue being in a relationship when he might have feelings for someone else”. The reasoning is already really shoddy and just a there to paint him as more terrible than he already is. He never seem to have taken the initiative to see her on the weekends (just because she wanted him to focus on his study), he kept putting off the talk of marriage (I can’t remember the reason if there is one) something Noa has seem to be thinking of a lot meaning he didn’t intend on having a future with her. He made no effort in the later part of their relationship while Noa didn’t push for a reciprocated love.

I absolutely understand the emotions behind all these actions but they both are shitty to each other and I hope Noa ends up in a happy, reciprocating relationship but this subplot is going to the realm of overstaying its welcome. I sincerely hope this breakup wraps up in the next 3 chapters.
