I can't help but think that Asuka was about to confess, except Hayami reminded her of just how good she is as a friend too. Asuka probably avoids confessing to Hayami partly out of fear of losing her best friend...

Anyway, the two morons are doing more silly cute things this chapter. It warms my soul. It's funny how girl clothes turned Hayami's appearance from an ambiguously gendered creature to, uh, still an ambiguously gendered creature.
