Can't actually be mad at the CHF, though her being borderline cruel to Ayumu is....well, it rubs me the wrong way, all the same.
Especially because it sorta reads like she's treating Hayami/Hina like some sort of possession to be fought over. Which, that's just an uncharitable interpretation, but. "Focus of character & associated sympathy of one over the other" and all that.
Probably because the CHF is only being this way because Hayami acted like she was aro/ace for the longest time until Ayumu came along, and the CHF only now saw a change in Hayami's demeanor toward this one specific person. So she was content until an actual "rival" shows up and now she's almost being a bully about it, even as Hayami clearly doesn't mind hanging out with Ayumu when she knows Ayumu's around.
Anyway, I'm sure this won't end poorly for anyone, but the CHF's whole vibe right now is kinda just like ...kinda petty, almost?
But, thanks for the chapter.
her whole attitude, even knowing why she's acting this way, makes her one of the few examples where I'm like "y'know what, maybe sometimes the childhood friend does deserve to lose."And sadly for the CHF, its clear that Hina doesn't even consider her to have potential to be more. They are friends, and any closeness is from that and will never be more. The fact that Hina went out of her way to try and take care of Ayumu makes it pretty clear where her priorities are.
Can't blame her tho, i mean pretty much anyone will do the same for the person they likeVery rare occurrence but the rival bit is pretty enjoyable here
but ngl, actively excluding and blocking MC from having fun with them the whole time is just insanely mean. Like, petty villain levels of mean.
Not at all saying she can‘t be redeemed but this half-chapter (for now) made her look like one MASSIVE unpleasant asshole.
This. I love Ayumu more after her expressing her excitement when our now antagonist now reveals she's also inlove with our love interest. She not only sees her as another challenger but also kindred with no malice. She was wrong but I find Ayumu's character worthy of being the protag the audience is cheering on.Nice to see that her first thought wasn’t jealousy, but rather a challenge to overcome which fits her character perfectly
I mean, sure, love is war and all but this is a rare school event where everyone interacts with their friends and schoolmates and has fun together. Can't blame her tho, i mean pretty much anyone will do the same for the person they like
There's all of like 3 poly manga period. But I don't think this is a good candidate. Hayami is in no position to be a hinge.Hope this ends in a polycule. There’s almost no good poly yuri out there
