Hmm well either she A was actually a monster and we just perceived her as beautiful or I shouldn’t think about this literally at all because it’s all just a metaphor lol. Honestly tho it feels like he’s truly worse than her. His actions and thoughts mimic many incidents committed by men irl and in the end aren’t men the true horror?(half joking)

It’s good but I’ll admit I would’ve liked it more had it slowed down just a little bit. Just a bit more of that: what is actually going on here?

Reminds me a bit of Out of Hands, but with a breakup rather than a death. A story about how it's easier to wallow in illusion than to face reality

Ngl this felt kind of mid. Dude was unlikeable way before the girl was and so the fixation on making her monstrous via appearance before all the details were revealed felt super shallow. I suppose it could be argued that this was the whole point, but I would have preferred a kicker ending where we get someone else's PoV, maybe a bystander calling the cops, with the girl looking normal, strangled to death on the ground; without that, it's almost like the dude was shown to be justified in killing a monster.
