interesting manga, but meh at the same time.
Dude was so delusional that in the end he saw the woman as the monster, bc she was not acting like she usually did.
Also, author kinda ignored what she said, that she was regretted bc she broke up with him, but it didn't explain if she was really honest or not. Now i'm curious, she was really showing her true personality when they were dating, or she was acting hmm

Thank you for the translation

coming back to this. First thought was: "feels dissatisfying because introduced nuance in the middle but didn't have the guts in the final hurdle to either resolve the ambiguity decisively (he is evil / she is evil) or step into an objective frame". I am beginning to think this wasn't just muddled execution - parts of it strike me as suggesting the way people are reacting to the ending is an intended result. Maybe there's something interesting going on here? I'll let the details fade a bit then reread in a week or so.

The guy was just some normal dude, the girl was always one for the streets, and the illusion/monster was just the guy unfortunately turning schizo out of huffing too much copium and ultimately becoming a "monster" himself as he stalks and finally kills Yuuko. That's why an entire page was dedicated to Yuuko's last words: as former abuse victim Yuuji gets his revenge on his abuser, he commits an even bigger crime than she ever would.
