As a Vietnamese I love it when there is a character from our country but there are 2 small details: If you call someone by their family name, especially the name Nguyen, it is weird. We always call ourselves with our given name. And Nguyen is very common in VIet Nam, some would even say more than 50% of the population has it.
The "ao dai" is nice touch, but our is more simplified, the elaborate cloths like that is more of a Chinese dress. Even in wedding, we only wear more colorful, better material or with some patterns on it.

Damn the manga is like 1000 times better than the anime. And to think nothing can top the anime. I love this series

@Peanutbutth the anime is way better than the manga imo. The anime contains the original story from the light novels, while the manga follows its own canon and adds its own shit to the story. Also the manga exaggerates lots of stuff, as with all the additional action and more intense fights, since the publication needs to appeal to the shonen demographic.

Note for any readers that in the original story (Kizumonogatari light novel+movies, the action was not this intense, and Dramaturgy did not "road roller da" araragi. Also, Dramaturgy was never given a backstory in the original, not even in the untranslated novels. The manga is a clone of the main story tweaked to appeal to shonen demographic (more action, less dialogue, etc.) Manga is fucking dope but anime+ novels beat manga anyday
