So i have to ask... is Episode really weak? I understand the situation with Kisss-Shot was a bunch of coincidences and dumb luck for them and i can accept that she is so powerful that vampire is a label wasted on her, but is he really weak by the standards of this world?

Was Episode past explored in any of the other media of this series?

I am interested in how a half-vampire can be born, by the explanations of Oddities in this series, vampires should only care enough about humans as food, in some rare cases a servant, but a Damphir clearly needs an interest on the vampire's part the goes further than just that, even if the human part isnt willing. And the Damphir sure seems as broken here as they are usually depicted, all the strengths none of the weaknesses, and with vampires being pretty broken here even if the strengths arent the full of the Full vampires it is still much strength.

Thanks for your work on this series, just curious, are we caught up with releases, and what is the release schedule.

@pmntamp If you are referring to Kiss Shot sticking her hand in her head to recall her memories, yes that was specifically in both the LN and the movie adaptation. The LN made a joke saying that an anime adaptation would have been for sure impossible after it happened.

Is Oh! Great really mixing his Ippo reference with "Even so, Ayumu Draws Closer to the Endgame" or is that series' title a play on another series?

@Crombs No, they have changed how the fights play out for the manga as well. The most accurate adaptation of this arc is still the opening scene of the Bakemonogatari anime, at least there, everything that was shown was by the book exactly as it was written.

@alacaelum Episode's past isn't brushed upon in either the LNs or the Anime. He does reappear after this arc to play a small role in one of the arcs near the end of the final season though. (btw, the "final season" isn't the final season, the off season and monster season comes after that)

While I much prefer the main story in the anime+novels better, I really do love the manga, and how it takes the main story and adds its own unique details to it, as well as adding more action. Honestly I never wondered what kizumonogatari would be like if it were a shonen battle manga but now that it's a thing I do enjoy it. Still wouldn't consider manga canon though
