i hope after ohgreat finished with the monogatari series adaptation, he would pick up pointer(s) from nisioisin plot writing and event flow progression into his own since nisio writing share the same spirit of ohgreat's, except that nisio is waaaay better in conveying the semi-philosophical aspect of the humanistic actions and motives in his character, that it didn't came off as being edgy for no apparent reason.

My only problem with Bakemongatari (other than pedo fan service) is that sometimes a lot of the explanatory dialogue seems unnecessarily meandering. Not sure how to explain it, but it feels like there are far more efficient ways to communicate the nature of the oddities and why they occur. It's not that it's confusing, it's just that it could be more concise and I think it would benefit from being so.

Sometimes the series dialogue is less characters speaking and more of a internal dialogue of the author thinking about things. That what's makes the dialogue of the series unique and interesting but it's very wordy and all over the place. I like that aspect of the series though.
