Edit: I wish I was taking the piss but this whole arc feels like a moral lesson on not being a big fish in a small pond, being humble and giving it your all straight from the get go.

Just goes to show that when you first show up and nobody knows you that’s ur biggest advantage, but once you become a regular ppl know what to expect from you so winning the second time in a row is way harder.

Honestly wonder who the next opponent they hype up will be, Sukune is such a downgrade compared to Pickle, who had super-human strength and fought T-Rexes with his fists, and Mushashi, who completely humiliated Yujiro to the point where he needed to be “protected” lol.

Just as i predict, everybody who is the focus on the new arc would always become jobber in the face of Baki. Well Baki is almost as strong as Yujiro so that make sense at least.

Why did it take like 5 seconds for them to reach each other? Aren't these guys supermans that leave world class athletes in the dust? They were like 5-10 metres apart at most and this guy was supposed to disregard everything and just attack as fast as possible.

Well, Baki is always great comedy with how silly it all is. Especially since for the most hyped matches, it completely devolves into:"I shall defeat you with my one inch punch" "Watch my half-inch punch" XD
