Feel that you need to have at least a bit of appreciation for baseball to really get into this manga, since this manga seems to focus more on the culture of baseball than the romcom aspect

This is such a fun read, love the different "inhabitants" of the ballpark. From Murata and Ruriko (whom judging by the author's twitter may or may not have a romance going, I'm not sure) to the supportive undercover wife and the GOAT Sun Shiro!

It's a shame this was dropped, we haven't had a chapter in about a year or so and the official manga is already in it's 9th volume.

Hopefully someone else picks it up.

I was looking for information about this series the other day, and Google Translate called it "Catch Me at the Ballpark!" Is that a valid translation of the original name?

So, this is getting an anime next year. Honestly didn't expect this, but now I get to see Ruriko and the other beer girls animated! :meguupog:

Hope people aren't baited into thinking this is a romcom like people did for the manga and then drop the series. It's fun series and thinks everyone should give it a try. Don't even need to know about baseball to enjoy it.

The romcom is the subplot, it's a baseball nerd series you won't get anything out of it tbh I'd rather just go and watch baseball instead.
