One year at Anime Central, I decided I needed to touch up my makeup. Being a crossplayer but not being excessively stupid, I went to the mens' room for this. The mirror doesn't give a shit. Now the bathrooms in the Hyatt at the time were at opposite ends of a T-shaped hallway. The bottom of the T opened into the main hall, the left fork of the T was the mens' room, and the right fork of the T went to the womens' room. Anyway, I'm standing there in my pink frilly dress and all fixing my lipstick when this poor bastard walks in on my left, sees what I am doing, and thinks "Oh, I must have walked into the womens' room by mistake." So he reverses course and starts walking the other way.

I turned my head just as he was turning the corner into the womens' room. Discretion being the better part of valor and all, I decided my best course of action was to bail the fuck out. I was walking into the main hall just as the screaming started...

Wherever you are dude, I'm sorry, and I hope you didn't go to jail, lol.

No reason to be worried, this type of food isnt even in the same category as them. Introducing some weird scientist korean cooking god 120 chapters in is also weird as fuck, no idea where the author is going with this?

The author is being very weird with this "make Korean guys villains" plot.

Legare is a traditional Italian restaurant that serves authentic but mostly-affordable meals to the general public that maybe could earn 1 michelin star (the flagship restaurant probably has 1--I wonder if anyone has forgotten that this is a spinoff--but this one wouldn't, realistically, due to its inconsistency up to this point).

Their new "rival" is a molecular gastronomy restaurant playing on Italian cuisine as a base, that in real life would earn three Michelin stars and charge $375 per person (40k+ yen) with no add-ons (can be as high as $1k per person with add ons)

Why does the author think this is comparable? The most insane part is that apparently this restaurant must be operating at an enormous loss for literally no reason in order to be affordable. I have been to three 3-star restaurants in my life (Jean-Georges two years before they lost their 3rd star, Masa, and Addison) and they are just not the same universe of experience as regular restaurants like Legare. Like they're so fundamentally different that it's insane to compare them. If the prices are really comparable enough to compare these restaurants, either Legare is grossly overcharging (I don't remember if they've specified exact full course prices) or this new restaurant is charging so little that they're basically lighting money on fire.

Please get it together, author. The thing I'm most worried about is the author will come up with some bullshit reason why this new restaurant becomes undesirable to people for some reason. I'm telling you, what the author just drew is a true three michelin star experience.
