They tied, the reason MC name come first most likely because of their student number.

I thought that in the case of point tied, both of them will receive the same rank? Cause that's how in other manga and anime were. I forgot the names about them but there are those manga also with score rank, and when their scores were tied, then all of them got the same rank, while the positions were based on their name order. So with both their scores the same here, they should have been tied for 1st place and the 3rd student is on 3rd place, there must have been something else here that let the MC become 1st beside just the name order.
